Important Announcements 
In this section you will find regular updates and weekly announcements for the program. Please check back each week.
Program begins on September 10, 2011. We continue to work on placing students to allow for a smooth start up to the year. We expect to have schedules for the registration day and class lists posted here soon but they will definitely be available on Saturday. Please check back late next week. Remember that there are no orchestras on registration day and classes are shortened somewhat.
If you have responded to us via email with changes and intent to register you will be able to drop a cheque off at the desk and avoid lineups. There is still time to email any changes to us. You must include student name, Suzuki Book number and pieces in progress. Before you write your cheque, please look the registration section of the website for new fees. Cheques should made payable to Forest City Talent and can be dated as indicated on the registration form.
We expect the usual parking problems but please refrain from parking along the curb next to the school. There is plenty of parking in the East Lot of the school.
Our unique partnership with the London Youth Symphony begins when they join us on registration day. If you are a senior student (over 13) and are considering joining LYS you must contact them right away. They welcome new players and are currently planning auditions for positions. You can get information at http://www.londonyouthsymphony.info/auditions/ . To contact them directly please email Business manager Joan Mortimer at lysymphony@hotmail.com .
Please indicate that you are an FCTE student and they will arrange an audition time. You should talk to your private teacher about your readiness for LYS.
Fees for the core orchestral strings remain the same for this year. There are slight increases for second and third children. There is also a slight increase in fees for guitar and harp classes. Please check out the registration information link from our home page.
NOTE: We communicate primarily by email and this website. If your email address has changed over the summer please let us know at the address below. An email went out to all families on August 11, 2011 and a day later we had 19 returned emails. If you have not received the email then we do not have a current email address for you.
We encourage you to write us with comments, concerns, criticisms, "offers of help". We have many jobs around the school and are glad to "share". Send your comments with our director at psfburroughs@rogers.com
