Saturday February 13 - there is no program as it is Family Day weekend.

Please remember that our own workshop and concert are on February 27th and 28th. You have received forms and schedules and need to bring in your cheques on Saturday February 20. Please free up those dates in your calendars. We first gave you those dates when small ensembles were formed.
Workshop Registration Information and Schedule
Please also remember that attendance at Saturday small ensemble rehearsals is extremely important. We expect our players to attend and on the rare occasion that you cannot you should inform the coach prior to the rehearsal. Some of you may wish to get together on the long weekend.
The Forest City Violins (Pat's class) will perform at Aroma Restaurant on the Valentines Day weekend (Feb. 12 and 13th). Students are expected to be at Aroma by 6:30 pm each night. They will play three sets beginning at 7:00 and ending at 10:00. If you want to take your special Valentine for a great evening of music and food, please contact Aroma at 519-435-0616 for reservations. This event sells out every year so call soon.

The Forest City Violins have also been asked to play at Metropolitan United Church on February 24 at 8:45 am. for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please see the information at the link below and confirm your attendance with Pat as soon as possible.
Parking - With the snow finally upon us, the parking lot seems to become smaller. Please do not park at the curb closest to the doors or in the middle of the lot. There is a basketball tournament this weekend so parking may be at a premium. Please do not park in the middle of the lot or at the curb near the school entrance.

February 20, 27 (13 falls during the family day weekend) Small Ensemble workshop Feb. 27/28
March 6, 27 (13 and 20 are march break Saturdays and we do not meet on those dates)
April 10,17,24 (April 3 is Easter break)
Kiwanis Festival - April 12 to April 30 2010
May 1,8,15,29 (final concert) (we do not meet on May 22 - long weekend) May 29 is our final date.
