Saturday February 20 - Full program
We need some help. If you can contribute any baking to our confections area we would certainly appreciate it. As you know, we rarely engage in fundraising and our snack area is one of the few ways you can help raise funds, both by purchasing snacks and bringing in some treats. Please drop by and talk to Jennepher about what you can contribute (you can take the time to thank her for volunteering every week as well).

Please remember that Chamber Music workshop and concert are on February 27th and 28th. You have received forms and schedules and need to bring in your cheques on Saturday February 20. Please free up those dates in your calendars. Tickets for the concert at Wolf Performance Hall on Sunday February 28th are on sale at the desk. Please see Lorie. All profits from this event also go directly to the program.
Workshop Registration Information and Schedule
Please also remember that attendance at Saturday small ensemble rehearsals is extremely important. We expect our players to attend and on the rare occasion that you cannot you should inform the coach prior to the rehearsal. If you need additional rehearsal time, feel free to start at 8:15. The rooms are usually ready.
The Forest City Violins distinguished themselves once again at Aroma Restaurant on Friday and Saturday. Our thanks to the students, Norman and Pat for giving their time to this annual event, which acts as a fund raiser for our school.
The group has also been asked to play at Metropolitan United Church on February 24 at 8:45 am. for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please see the information at the link below and confirm your attendance with Pat as soon as possible.
Parking - With the snow finally upon us, the parking lot seems to become smaller. Please do not park at the curb closest to the doors or in the middle of the lot. There is a basketball tournament this weekend so parking may be at a premium. Please do not park in the middle of the lot or at the curb near the school entrance.

March 6, 27 (13 and 20 are march break Saturdays and we do not meet on those dates)
April 10,17,24 (April 3 is Easter break)
Kiwanis Festival - April 12 to April 30 2010
May 1,8,15,29 (final concert) (we do not meet on May 22 - long weekend) May 29 is our final date.
