In this section you will find regular updates and weekly announcements for the program.  Please check back each week. 

Saturday January 28, 2012

Regular program continues this week.  Finally, all classes are back to normal.  Kerri's play-in and classes are back in Room 169 as is Junior orchestra.  Please remember to pay your second term fees.  Lorie will accept payments in the lobby.  

  Senior orchestra will be playing at Aeolian Hall on February 1.  Details are as follows:

Special Concert

Wednesday February 1, 2012 at Aeolian Hall

Concert begins at 6:00pm and will be over by 7:00pm

Orchestra members need to be at Aeolian Hall by 5:00pm in black concert dress

The orchestra will be guest performers at a concert by the El Sistema Aeolian Orchestra
Repertoire will be :Asturias,
Mozart Sinfonia (1st Movement)
Plus 2 new pieces to play with the El Sistema Orchestra

A link to a youtube performance of the Mozart was sent in an email to all Sr. Orch members. 

Parking at Mother Teresa:  Please remember that parking in the lane at the curb and at an angle in the middle of the lot are not permitted. The yellow angle lines are only for buses during the week. The east lot is available for parking as well. 

Email: We still have a  large number of incorrect emails on file - we can tell because when we send out an email at least 15 - 20 come back as invalid.  You can save us a lot of time by updating your email address with us whenever you change it.   infofcte@rogers.com  (we are assuming that you regularly read this website)

Donations: There is still time to donate to our group.  Individual donations help offset costs and have been instrumental in keeping our fees at a reasonable level.  Please consider our organization as tax time rolls around.  We are a registered charitable organization and tax receipts will be provided. 

We encourage you to write us with comments, concerns, criticisms, "offers of help".  We have many jobs around the school and are glad to "share".  Send your comments to infofcte@rogers.com
