In this section you will find regular updates and weekly announcements for the program. Please check back each week.
Saturday November 28 Final concert this week.
The concert begins at 9:45. Students are asked to be in their rehearsal locations at 8:50 ready to rehearse for 9:00. Please see the rehearsal times and locations in the table below. The concert program and order is posted in the concerts section of the main page. Please stay for as much of the concert as you are able to. It is good for the younger students to hear our senior students play. There will be no small ensembles on concert day. All students should have received instructions about what to wear when to meet etc.
Email: An email went out to all families on Thursday November 27. Dozens of email addresses were returned. If you did not get an email please email us at infofcte@rogers.com with your correct email address. We need to know when you have changed your address or if we have an incorrect address for you.
Remember that our Forest City Violins are performing on Friday night at Centennial Hall. In addition, Tori Grigg is featured soloist with the UWO Orchestra on Sunday. See details about both of these concerts in the concert link on our main page.

February 6, 20, 27 (13 falls during the family day weekend)
March 6, 27 (13 and 20 are march break Saturdays and we do not meet on those dates)
April 10,17,24 (April 3 is Easter break)
Kiwanis Festival - April 12 to April 30 2010
May 1,8,15,29 (final concert) (we do not meet on May 22 - long weekend) May 29 is our final date.
Donations: As we get to the end of the year we want to remind you that individual donations help offset costs and have been instrumental in helping keep our fees at a reasonable level. Please consider our organization as tax time rolls around. We are a registered charitable organization and tax receipts will be provided.
Fundraising: Our Cahill's confections is our primary fund raiser. We appreciate donations of baked goods etc.
