Full Program Saturday November 5, 2011
We will run our regular program on Saturday. Only four full program days left before the final concert for this year.
Our orchestra conductors have asked us to remind you that you should commit some practice time to orchestra music. If you are having difficulties, please ask your private teacher to review the parts. Remember that it is often more difficult to play in a group where all players are not necessarily playing the same part. You need to work on notes and rhythms outside of Saturday morning rehearsals.
Two of our groups will be performing in the Fanshawe Chorus's annual Christmas event. A London Christmas includes performances by our Guitar and Harp Ensembles. The event takes place on November 25 at 7:30 pm at Centennial Hall. You can take in some great music and the lighting of the lights at Victoria Park.
A former forest city cellist will be performing with the London Community Orchestra. Cameron Crozman will be soloing with the orchestra on Sunday afternoon. For more information please go to: http://lco-on.ca/
Please note that our fall term concert is on December 3 this year. We would appreciate it if you could mark that in the family calendar. That leaves 5 Saturdays of regular program before the concert. TWINKLE and PRE-TWINKLE classes will be wearing FCTE t-shirts. Please talk to Mary Lou and Lisa about ordering yours.
FEES PLEASE! Mrs. Grandmont will be in the lobby to continue accepting registrations and fees. Please remember that you must register and pay fees to continue attending our classes. We still have a few attending that have not registered and would like to have all of your information as soon as possible.
Parking: Please remember that there is only parking along the football side of the the south lot. There is not angle parking allowed in the middle of that lot and no parking allowed on the "school side curb" which is a fire lane. Please drop your children off and park in the East lot when the side lot is full.
We communicate primarily by email and this website. We sent an email out reminding families that there was no program during Thanksgiving. If you did not receive that email then we do not have a current email address for you. Please email us at infofcte@rogers.com to change your email address in our database.
We encourage you to write us with comments, concerns, criticisms, "offers of help". We have many jobs around the school and are glad to "share". Send your comments to our director at psfburroughs@rogers.com
