Important Announcements
In this section you will find regular updates and weekly announcements for the program. Please check back each week.
November 7: Full classes on Saturday. Please remember that all families must register and provide contact information. We communicate all information to families through this website, email and occasionally by phone.
Small Ensembles: Please remember that you must pack up at 9:25 (clocks in the school are not always reliable so a personal time piece may be necessary).
Please note that November 28th is our final concert date for this term. That is only 3 Saturdays left for this term. Please mark that date in your calendars as it is important for all students to participate. The final concert is a chance for families and relatives to hear what the other parts of the program are doing. It is a very good opportunity for young students to perform and to hear the older students. The rehearsals typically start at 9:00 and the concert begins at 9:45 on that day. Teachers in each class will be providing information about which pieces the students will play and what they should wear. Please invite friends and relatives.

Play-in - please remember to be on time for playin (both Books 1 and 2 playin in room 169 and Book 3 and up on the stage). Playin is an important part of the school and a unique aspect of Suzuki training. Ensemble playing at this level is exciting for the students and only possible because unlike other methods, these students have all studied and memorized the same repertoire. Students from our youngest to our oldest can and should participate.

Program Dates for the rest of the year are:
November 7,14,21,28 (final concert)
January 9,16,23,30
February 6, 20, 27 (13 falls during the family day weekend)
March 6, 27 (13 and 20 are march break Saturdays and we do not meet on those dates)
April 10,17,24 (April 3 is Easter break)
Kiwanis Festival - April 12 to April 30 2010
May 1,8,15,29 (final concert) (we do not meet on May 22 - long weekend) May 29 is our final date.
