Important Announcements

In this section you will find regular updates and weekly announcements for the program.  Please check back each week.

September 27: Our thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding as we get this mighty ship rolling for another year.  It is quite a task to get over 200 students and their families in and out of the right classes, rooms and ensembles. All classes and orchestras will be running again this week but there will be no small ensembles yet.   We will continue to staff the registration desk until we have all of you registered and accounted for.  We would appreciate it if you could check in at the desk and correct any changes in contact information and/or current playing levels.  We would also appreciate it if those who have not paid their fees would bring them to Lorie.

We still have people parking adjacent to the curb closest to the building - it is a fire lane and you can be ticketed.

THE SCHOOL: Please remember that we are guests at the school and should try to keep things as clean as possible.  Do not bring food and drink into the classrooms.  It would also be helpful if we try to have "parent social time" away from the doors to the classrooms.  Unfortunately the air conditioning has not been working and some teachers would like to keep the doors open. We want to be sure not to disrupt the classes with hall noise.

New families are welcome to email any questions about the program to infofcte@rogers.com

The schedule for today and the rest of the year will remain pretty much the same.  These things generally are constant.

It is important to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the 9:00 playin and classes for tune up.  We expect to start Play-in at 9:00 but need your cooperation to do so.  It is very helpful as well if you move quickly from class to class.

At 9:30 our regular classes begin.  Class lists and the rooms are posted at the link below.

If you notice any spelling errors with names, please let Lorie know at the desk. Orchestra rooms will remain the same for this week.

Senior Orchestra             Intermediate Orchestra     Junior Orchestra

Remember - students should not hang out in the orchestra rooms during recital.  It would also be very helpful if those in the lobby would try to keep the noise down during recital and orchestra.

For Sale: If you have items for sale on our site, please let us know if they have been sold already.   Remember to check out the for sale section of the site.  There are usually some great bargains and it seems that students begin to grow out of their instruments this time of year.  We would also like to recommend that if you are finished with a specific Book number or the CD's for that book, you should consider selling them.  There is always a need.

We encourage you to write us with comments, concerns, criticisms, "offers of help".  We have many jobs around the school and are glad to "share".  Send your comments to infofcte@rogers.com
