GONE FISHING! We would like to thank all of you for another great year. A special thanks to all of our students for an excellent final concert. Great work! Enjoy your your summer - you deserve the rest. Thanks also to all of our families for your ongoing support and commitment to the musical development of your children.
We are very fortunate to have such an superb faculty and we thank them for their dedication to our Saturday mornings. For a complete list of acknowledgements please check out concert program listing in the concerts section.
On a special note, thanks to those of you who contributed to our 20th Anniversary Celebration. Pat was thrilled with the Inuit carving and gift certificate and Mary Lou, Irene, Julia and Bonnie have expressed their sincere thanks for the recognition and gifts. It was a special event and we appreciated your support.
Provincial Competition: Several of our groups and individuals competed in the recent provincials in Toronto. For a complete listing of the results you can go to http://www.omfa.info/ Primus members can view their winner's plaque by clicking on the thumbnail. (they entered by Taped entry and have not seen the award).
EMAIL - if you change your email address you must let us know. Most of our contact with families is through email. If you are not receiving regular emails then we probably don't have an updated email address. We get about 12 to 15 returned addresses every time we send out an email. If you use hanmail.net please email us at infofcte@rogers.com . This server almost always sends back email as undeliverable. You might need to change your filters to allow group email from FCTE.
For Sale: If you have items for sale on our site, please let us know if they have been sold already. Remember to check out the for sale section of the site. There are usually some great bargains and it seems that students begin to grow out of their instruments this time of year. We would also like to recommend that if you are finished with a specific Book number or the CD's for that book, you should consider selling them. There is always a need.
Fundraising and Donations - Please let us know if you did not get your 2007 tax receipts. Donations are always appreciated. Our thanks to Karen Walker for running "Karen's Confections and those who donated food items. It has been one of our best fundraisers.
We encourage you to write us with comments, concerns, criticisms, "offers of help". We have many jobs around the school and are glad to "share". Send your comments to infofcte@rogers.com
